EiA Congress 2022 with AEDIB|NET

AEDIB|NET took part in the 2nd edition of ENRICH in Africa (EiA) Congress  2022, which was held in Nairobi, Kenya and Online on the 25th of November 2022, under the motto From Roadmaps to Achievements.

Our partner Covadonga Rayon from EBN presented the AEDIB|NET’s vision and activities of the newly established digital innovation hubs in Africa on the digital innovation hubs and the future of digitalisation panel discussion.

The event kicked off with a keynote address by Dr. Vincenzo Lorusso from the European Commission, where he provided insight into the AU-EU Innovation Agenda launched a day before the congress and the future direction for Africa- Europe collaboration. This year’s congress was unique, where we successfully launched the ENRICH in Africa Centre (EiA Centre), a network connecting European and African innovation ecosystems as an outcome of the ENRICH in Africa project that will usher in strengthening internationalisation and collaboration in innovation and followed the high-level  AU-EU Innovation Agenda Stakeholder Event on 23 – 24 November 2022, that conveniently took place in the same location.
