The event aims to promote “Business Angels” investment in startups in French-speaking Africa and highlight their impact on the African ecosystem. It’s a unique platform for exchanging and bringing together investors and entrepreneurs from Africa, Europe and the diaspora around the theme of innovation and ultimately creating partnerships, investment and mentoring opportunities.
To this end, the event brings together players from the ecosystem to discuss topics such as:
- The specificities of “Business Angel” investment in Africa vs. elsewhere
- Lessons to be learned for Africa from the European model
- Establishing a framework for long-term collaboration between the two ecosystems
- The role of diaspora communities in enabling exchanges and links between the two ecosystems
- The role of PPPs in the development of Africa’s digital ecosystem.
